How partners are chosen

We look at sourcing stories, freshness practices, and whether the team can explain their products without jargon walls. For equipment, we care about warranty handling, spare parts, and honest recommendations—even when that means a smaller basket.

Roasters share harvest windows and roast dates where applicable; gear sellers document what’s in the box and what isn’t. If something doesn’t meet the bar, we pass—no favours, no paid placement shortcuts.
